Theatre has been Amber Renae's passion since childhood! Born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas she began an early career in acting when her mom made her audition for "The Music Man" at her local community theatre. She fell in love quickly. After high school, she studied at the University of North Texas where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (emphasis in performing) in December of 2010.

 

After graduation, she balanced both teaching (theatre) in the Dallas & Houston, TX public school systems & performing for a few years.  In 2017, she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her acting career full time. Being a full time performer was an everyday "pinch me, I'm dreaming" type of feeling. After performing on the east coast and the midwest for 6 years, Amber Renae and her husband made the decision to come back home  to the DFW metroplex.   She is married to a musical genius, Robert and a proud mama of 2 little girls named Truly and Lovie She is also the founder and artistic director of A. Renae & Company, a professional acting troupe that does ministry through theatre.

Currently, Amber Renae is a middle school theatre director. She enjoys encouraging young people to follow their dreams. While her children are young, teaching allows more time at home. When asked, if taking a break from pursuing theatre full time is giving up on your personal dreams, Amber Renae replied with, "I was blessed with with two beautiful girls and God is expecting me to raise them right. My dreams aren't going anywhere."

 

One day, she aspires to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her ultimate goal is to always give God glory with her gifts and talents, for without Him none of her achievements would be possible. When asked what is something she'd like to the world to know, Amber Renae said, "whether performing for a crowd of 2 or 2,000 as long as I'm doing what I love, and doing it for God... I will have joy!"
